Hello!

Hi, I'm Lisa. I'm a glasses wearing, self-diagnosed book addict, country music listening, crazy dog lady, tea drinking, blond and blue-eyed, introverted, neat-freak, bibliophile, 20 year old girl from the Netherlands, who loves reading, sleeping, books, various tv shows, oversized jumpers, diet coke, books, pretty notebooks and stationary, obsess over the tiniest things, pearl earrings and books. But I guess you already figured that out.

In the summer of 2012 I started book blogging on this blog, BlondeBookBee. After a couple of months I gathered up all the braveness I owned and turned on a camera. I filmed a video and uploaded it to YouTube. That's how my BookTube channel, BlondeBookBee, was created.  On this channel I talk about books, just like I will be doing here (again).

What you can expect on this blog are written book reviews of the books that I do not review on my channel. I review about 3-5 books on my channel every month and I read an average of 10-15 (with some extremes) books. A lot of books therefore don’t get reviewed and that’s a shame. This blog is the perfect place to do that.

I will post blog posts every Monday and Thursday because on those days I upload videos on BlondeBookBee. For the rest of my posts I don’t have a day set. It all depends on when I finish a book. So don’t think it’s strange when I review three books in one week and then the only one in the next week. However I have read a lot of books in July and August when I was on holiday so you can expect lots of reviews coming your way.
